VIDES USA Requirements
• Catholic or non-Catholic - • open to community living within a religious family • female or male
• single, 21-35 years of age • US citizen or resident • knowledge of language spoken in the mission
• attendance at annual FSC (formation/service camp) - Jan or June in Texas - July in New Jersey
• attendance at a Re-Entry experience after returning from mission
Application Process Allow about six months before initiation of service to complete:
• Preliminary Application (below) • Assurance • Full Application • Interview
• Two or three week FSC (formation/service camp) • Commissioning • Placement procedures.
