I'm currently working as a staff member in the kindergarten room and the timing is great as there are a handful of new Chinese speaking kids starting around this time of year and it's nice to help ease them in. It is challenging, but interesting to be interacting and teaching the two children in our class with autism, who have very different personalities and require varying amounts of attention and approach strategies. Yet in the special moments when they're calm and can connect with you, their sweet nature emerges in simple yet beautiful interactions; it makes me smile more than anything. I'm quite excited and grateful for the sisters to have extended the invitation to me and look forward to what I'll get to learn in our faith sharing.
