This year’s Asherton formation/service camp, June 8-24 has been a great ACCOMPANIMENT Adventure! We walked with each other and with the young sharing "bread" —that which is life giving— moving toward experiencing and sharing life in Christ. |
| 7 in the Directing Team, 7 Junior VIDES Leaders (JVLs - below), 24 Asherton teens began their leadership formation, and more than 100 youngsters attended the Bible Camp. |

7 Spirit Team
Julius Scott from Kerrville led the first day, June 12, with valuable life leadership
lessons. The next days we reviewed the running of the Kids Camp—songs, games,
etc. and how to accompany the youngsters to lead them to be their best especially
with one’s example. Saturday we ended with a mini retreat where the volunteer
missioners worked with the teens to discover/share their talents and find their
growing edges, prepared and received the sacrament of reconciliation. We ended
the teen workshop sharing a meal with the JVLs parents and watching the movie of
