| Tarry volunteered in East Timor as an English teacher to pre-sisters and at a technical school that trained young men ages 15-25 in trades such as welding, automechanic, carpentry and electrical. He also spent time in recreation with 50 of the boarders. In April 2006, civil war broke out in the country forcing Tarry to leave his beloved country and its people. He continued his service in Laredo, TX and is now volunteering at the VIDES office in San Antonio. |

| Nathan served in Mexico for several months and now he continues to live the VIDES legacy through his efforts in Haiti. As a commercial pilot, Nathan is able to deliver much- needed school supplies and medicine to the people in Haiti. His next trip to Haiti will be June 2007. Nathan's interests include art, teaching, writing, youth ministry and mechanics. |
